Heath, numbers and…a special giveaway.

Cosa hanno in comune il caldo ed i numeri? Che riesco a conviverci ma non li amo particolarmente. Il caldo mi impigrisce, corpo e mente. I numeri a volte sono utili. Si, ma io preferisco esercitare la parte destra del mio cervello. Considerare l’ordine di grandezza piuttosto che “il numero”. Seguire l’intuito (la Forza dicevano in Guerre Stellari!).

What do heath and numbers share? The fact that I survive with them but I do not love them so much. Heath makes me very lazy, both body and brain. Numbers can be useful. Yes, but I prefer to train and work with the right side of my brain. To follow my intuition (in Star Wars they said La Forza).

E allora succede che la festa per il primo anno di questo blog ha (numericamente) qualche giorno di ritardo. Non importa. Avrei voluto far preparare una torta con sopra scritto Buon Compleanno e fotografarla per questo post. Ma in famiglia in questi giorni dobbiamo seguire una dieta ferrea e non sarebbe stato opportuno. Pertanto ho deciso un’altra cosa.

Therefore it happens that the party for the first year of this blog is a little late (if we think about numbers)  it’s only a few days. It does not matter. I wanted to have a nice cake with something like happy birthday written on it, and take a photo for this post. But actually in our family we are following a diet very strong and absolutely no cake! So I decided something else.

Nonostante il caldo i prossimi giorni stamperò con massima cura su carta fine art cinque copie di una fotografia fra quelle postate nel blog (o forse una nuova?) e ne farò dono a qualcuno dei miei lettori. A chi? Tre copie sono destinate ai primi tre che mi invieranno una mail con il loro indirizzo postale (che ovviamente io non divulgherò). Ma non tutti forse sono sempre davanti al computer e allora le altre due verranno spedite a due nomi fra quelli che manderanno la mail dopo. Credo scriverò dei bigliettini e farò estrarre a mia moglie i nomi dei vincitori.

In spite of the high temperature in the next days I’ll print with care on fine art paper one of the photos I showed in this blog (or maybe a new one?) and I’ll donate them to someone among my readers. Whom? Three copies are for the first three who send me a mail with their home address (which I’ll keep secret of course). But not everybody is always in front of a computer and the other two copies will be sent to two names from among the ones who sent their mails later. I think I’ll write the names on a few  notes and my wife will draw out the winners!

E’ il mio modo per ringraziare chi mi ha seguito in questo piccolo blog. E’ stato bello scoprire tante persone con interessi comuni, che sono intervenute con commenti, che hanno condiviso i loro momenti belli e anche a volte quelli difficili. Grazie a tutti 🙂
