Racconto breve semiserio con foto mie e di Simo. A short not too serious story with photographs by myself and Simo.

L’Austria è un paese dove i paesaggi sono ovunque. E sono belli.

Austria is a country rich of landscapes. And they are beautiful.

Per vederli occorre muoversi. In vacanza non amo le automobili, a volte sono invadenti, le trovi posteggiate ovunque.

In order to see the various landscapes you have to move. On holiday I do not like so much cars, sometimes they are too intrusive. You find them everywhere.

E allora io preferisco altri mezzi di trasporto. Then I prefer other means of transport.

Ma il sidecar sarebbe un sogno…e allora forse uno di questi potrebbe andar bene.

But the sidecar would be a dream…therefore maybe one of these could be ok.

Viaggiare lentamente è rilassante Slow traveling is relaxing

Si possono fare incontri interessanti You can meet interesting…

Ed il posteggio è più amico dell’ambiente Parking is more environmental friendly

Se non amiamo l’auto ci sarebbe anche il treno.

If we do not like cars trains are available.

Ma se vogliamo ammirare il panorama da una vetta montana…dobbiamo salire.

But if we l like sightseeing from a mountain…we need to climb…

Noi che giovani lo siamo, dentro però, ci siamo arrivati in funivia. La giornata era nuvolosa ed anche freddina ma era anche il nostro ultimo giorno in Austria. Ed abbiamo fatto bene perchè quassù abbiamo incontrato persone simpatiche che vagavano fra le nuvole.

We are young, but only inside, and arrived here by cable car. It was a cloudy day (and even cold) but it was our last day in Austria. And it was a good choice, because here on the top of this mountain we met nice people walking through the clouds.

La cosa più bella è stata incontrare questa coppia di giapponesi, arrivati da Venezia e diretti in Germania per il loro tour europeo. Gentilissimi, dopo aver scambiato qualche parola hanno visto la macchina fotografica di mia moglie (giapponese, la macchina non Simo) e le hanno mostrato la loro. E qui c’è stata la sorpresa: entrambi avevano una Nikon F6. Chi l’avrebbe mai pensato che in cima ad una montagna austriaca ci saremmo trovati in tre filmosauri? Non, a me spiace per le difficoltà della casa gialla, ma la pellicola è viva!

The nicest thing was to meet this couple of japanese tourists, arrived from Venice and forwarding to Germany during their european tour. Very kind after a short chatting they saw the camera of my wife (japanese, the camera not my wife) and showed their ones. And that was a surprise: they both had a Nikon F6. Who had thought that on the top of an austrian mountain three filmosuars had met together? No, I’m sorry for the troubles of the Yellow Company, but film is alive!

Per chi non avesse familiarità con le macchine fotografiche la F6 è l’ammiraglia a pellicola in casa Nikon. Le mie foto sono state scattate su pellicola Kodak, Ektar e Portra 800. Simo è moderna, lei scatta in digitale…
