Creatività e finestre, un ritratto. please scroll down for english text, thanks.
Still exploring how to use windows in a creativity exercise I thought to use them as a background. But a face is draws too much the attention of the viewer leaving the window as a simple background (which it is!) therefore I decided to use just a backlit silhouette.

Love your exploration and the mood you’ve captured!
Thanks, I was lucky the light was appropriate…as my (wife) model !

Silhouettes always work for me…black and white, color…not favorites just whatever works for the motif. Vignetting, cropping, and all sorts of things…You are on the right track!
I really appreciate your studying, practicing and ultimate results. You are way ahead of me with your dedication and enthusiasm. As with learning to play a musical instrument…practice is crucial and it is time for me to get to work after being inspired by you yet again!
Trying and trying again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. But each time it adds something to our experience.

PS: a friend of mine used to say at the end experience is a sum of mistakes 🙂
Das ist wirklich mal wieder etwas ganz besonderes!

Danke Oli, etwas neues zu machen ist immer ein Risiko, aber manchmal gehet es gut!

I really loved, dear Robert what you did. First of all it is a good decision with this curtain and to use silhuette portrait for this image is another amazing decision. Fascinated me. Thank you, have a nice weekend, love, nia
Thanks Nia, it’s nice you like this photo. Honestly I’m not so sure, I like the idea but now I think it had been better to put the silhouette a little more on the right side, against the brightest part of the curtain. Next time!
