Auguri Bob! Please scroll down for english text, thanks!
Grazie Bob, buon compleanno!
It was 1970. I was a little older than twenty. I borrowed from my father his Rolleiflex. And his Volkswagen too, which I drove many hours to reach the sea, Cannes, South France.
Once arrived I met a group of young buskers playing and singing “Blowing in the wind”. it was a special moment, I still remember it so many years later.
Thanks Bob, happy birthday!

Ah, yes, Happy Birthday, Bob…if a little late from here. I did celebrate your birthday with a couple of your CDs. And, Robert, thank you for this little tribute to a great artist. Loved your story and images too!
Thanks Dave, a great artist with a many great songs in his book. And yes, memories are good when we are getting old 🙂

I have too many favourites by Bob to even start mentioning them…. But you 6×6 images from 1970 are precious. They capture the time spirit so well. Really fun!
Thanks Otto, your comments are always much appreciated! And those were times…
