Il giornale sul tavolo è sempre un invito a prenderlo in mano, in contraddizione con la possibilità di un incontro più ravvicinato, la nascita di una conversazione con uno sconosciuto, per esempio.
Domenica scorsa ho visitato una mostra in un museo dedicato al pittore Charles Belle, e la guida ci ha chiesto cosa vedessimo davanti a ogni quadro. Tutte le mostre dovrebbero essere così.

It s so nice to drive along a small road, specially in an unknown (to me) place. A pause for an expresso is part of the small pleasures. Perhaps you manage to have a chat with somebody…
The two photo were taken during a trip in Sardinia where my wife and I went to meet a good friend who spent each year a few months there. The trip was not intended as a “photographic” trip and I only brought a simple Polaroid camera with me. No need to say it was before covid…
