Oggi si festeggia il nono compleanno di questo blog! In questi anni ho raccontato la mia visione della fotografia e come questa si inserisca nella mia vita. Come per tanti di noi ci sono stati alti e bassi, momenti di entusiasmo e qualche delusione. In questi giorni sto lavorando su piccole modifiche, ma sostanzialmente lo stile del blog rimarrà questo, che è lo stile di un fotografo tranquillo.
Today we celebrate the ninth birthday of this blog! In these years I have told my vision of photography and how it fits into my life. As for many of us there have been ups and downs, moments of enthusiasm and some disappointment. In these days I’m working on small changes, but basically the style of the blog will remain this one, which is the style of a quiet photographer.
Per festeggiare questa giornata ho preparato una galleria con una foto per ogni anno di blog , divertitevi a guardarle !

Grazie, molto graditi. E’ un blog che come la mia fotografia segue i miei pensieri, sensazioni, idee, preoccupazioni, sogni e paure. A volte deliberatamente, a volte a ruota libera. Forse uno spazio di libertà in un mondo un po’ così.
Penso che l’interesse dei blog sia quello di lasciare che i loro autori li sviluppino secondo i loro desideri, le loro ispirazioni, la loro personalità, che ci offre una grande diversità di lettura. buon compleanno!

E’ un poco come la vita, non sempre si riesce ad andare dove si vorrebbe. E come diceva mia mamma qualche volta dove non si vuole andare si deve …correre !

Congratulations, Robert, I enjoyed scrolling through your gallery. I have a question to you… as much as I like your feature image… I am still a bit puzzled how you shot this… I see the reflection of the statue and so on…. can you tell a bit more how and where you shot this image… is there a story behind this image…. Grazie Cornelia. I shot that photo at an art exhibition in Tuscany, during a work trip. I had a camera with me with a very wide lens (12mm lens on 35mm film) and the exhibiton was held in a previous church in that time transformed in a art gallery.
When traveling because of my job I always carried a camera with me and (in that time) a few rolls of film. And I always tried to cut a short time for myself, maybe only 15 minutes…but very useful to recharge batteries during intense working days.
I should look in my catalogue for some photos I shot that time.
