Una partenza lenta
Per ora, se tutto andrà bene la fase “tutti chiusi in casa” è terminata. Anche noi, con molte precauzioni incominciamo ad uscire non solo per fare la spesa. Ci siamo avventurati perfino alla nostra cafeteria preferita, sia pure per pochi minuti e con tutte le precauzioni di rito.
At the moment, if everything will be ok the phase “everybody locked at home” is over. We too, with many attentions go out not only to buy food. We even ventured to the cafeteria around the corner, albeit with caution and only the short time to drink an expresso.
In questi giorni sto lavorando su vari progetti fra i quali un numero speciale della mia zine fotografica “imperfect moments”. Questo numero sarà dedicato alle foto che ho scattato durante il lockdown.
In these days I’m working at various projects, among which is the special number of my zine “imperfect moments” dedicated to my photography during the lockdown.
Amo molto scegliere le foto, costruire le sequenze lavorando con piccole stampe e costruendo semplici dummies del prodotto finito. Avere sul tavolo o in mano qualcosa di tangibile, di fisico è una sensazione molto bella. Quano raggiungo un risultato che soddisfa le mie aspettative passo alla fase successiva utilizzando il computer e i vantaggi delle tecnologie moderne.
I love very much to edit and try sequences working with small prints and building dummies of the finished product. It’s a great feeling when you have on the table or in your hands something physical, something tangible. When I’m near a satisfying result I start to work with a computer and to benefit of its advantages.

it seems to me, Robert, that there is a little printer that prints small stickers of photos, i’m tempted to get one, it would be nice to make photo books out of blank journals 🙂

Thanks Cornelia, I thought I had already anwered but I do not see it! LOL misteries of technology! Now I’m in a B&W mood! But the zine will be a combination of B&W and colours.
