The Leap Year Photographs

Poco tempo fa ho raccontato in questo articolo della mia partecipazione al progetto “Leap Year Photographs”. L’associazione Visual Huesca ha invitato 111 fotografi di tutto il mondo ad interpretare visivamente alcuni testi tratti dal libro “Memorias Bisiestas” del poeta  Ramon J. Sender per commemorare i 111 anni dalla sua nascita. Il progetto contiene brani musicali di gruppi come i Moriarty and Kalaña (Huesca), Devillins (Albuquerque, USA), Follow Silence (Albuquerque, USA) and singer Leah Leyva (Albuquerque, USA).

A short time ago I wrote in this post about taking part in the project “Leap Year Photographs” .  The association Visual Huesca invited 111 photographers and musicians the world over to participate in that initiative. Artists were asked to visually interpret texts from Ramon J. Sender’s book, Memorias Bisiestas, to mark the 111th anniversary of his birth. The project contains a soundtrack with songs from musical groups such as Moriarty and Kalaña (Huesca), Devillins (Albuquerque, USA), Follow Silence (Albuquerque, USA) and singer Leah Leyva (Albuquerque, USA).

Con queste immagini e brani musicali i fotografi Vincente Lachén e Dominique Leyva hanno realizzato un audiovisivo che è stato presentato ad Huesca il 2 febbraio 2012. Chi fosse interessato lo può vedere o scaricare qui per vederlo in seguito con calma.

With the photographs and the soundtracks the photographers Vincente Lachén e Dominique Leyva organized a slideshow which was projected in Huesca on february 2nd, 2012. If you are interested you can see or download it here in order to watch it later.
