Un poco di pioggia
L’aspettavamo da tanto tempo e non eravamo più abituati a stare senza di lei. Era anche piacevole ma gli inconvenienti erano diversi. Aria pesante, carica di polveri, germi e altre diavolerie che alla lunga portavano a diversi malanni. Ovviamente sto parlando della pioggia, che alla fine la scorsa notte è arrivata.
We had been waiting for her for a long time and were no longer used to being without her. It was also pleasant but there were many inconveniences. Heavy air, dust, germs and other devilries that led to various ailments in the long run. Of course, I am talking about the rain, which finally last night came.
Una pioggerellina leggera, delicata e continua che non ha creato problemi ma ha pulito l’aria. E che mi ha messo di buon umore. Allora, dopo molto tempo ho preso la macchina fotografica e ho scattato qualche foto, dapprima dal terrazzo di casa e dopo nelle vie del mio quartiere. Niente di speciale, anche se a dire il vero è la pioggia stessa che sta diventando così rara da essere un avvenimento speciale!
A light, gentle, continuous drizzle that did not create problems but cleaned the air. And that put me in a good mood. So, after a long time I took my camera and snapped a few photos, first from the terrace of my apartment and later in the streets of my neighborhood. Nothing special, really to say the truth it is the rain itself that is becoming so rare to be a special event!
I media lo hanno chiamato subito cattivo tempo: io credo lo si dovrebbe chiamare buon tempo. Capisco che un fine settimana di pioggia dia fastidio a tanti, ma la natura, i terreni, l’agricoltura, i fiumi, i laghi e anche la nostra salute avevano bisogno di un poco di acqua. E allora ripeto perchè chiamarlo cattivo tempo?
The media immediately called it bad weather: I think we should call it good weather. I understand that a weekend of rain bothers many, but nature, soils, agriculture, rivers, lakes and even our health needed a little water. So I repeat why call it bad weather? Let’s call it good weather!

Chissà se sono solo io ad amare un poco di pioggia ogni tanto? I wonder if it’s just me who loves a little rain now and then?
